What is Large Recycling?
With the Large Recycling program, you can have recyclable waste collected that you cannot dispose of through the other recycling programs we offer at your address.
Large Recycling can include items such as:
- Household items
- Large cardboard
- Large iron/metal items
- Electronics
- Textile waste - in larger quantities, minimum of two sacks
- appliances, up to 60 cm (width) x 60 cm (depth) x 120 cm (height)
If you live in a property with a container yard, you cannot request pickup. You must drop off Large Recycling at the container yard.
When you order
Please remember to describe in the comment field what the driver should pick up when placing your order – this ensures that we only take waste.
We collect Large Recycling on Wednesdays. When you place an order, you will have the option to choose from the next four Wednesdays.
If you place your order before Friday at 11 AM, you have the opportunity to have your Large Recycling collected on the Wednesday of the following week or on the first available collection day. If a collection day is filled with orders, you will not see that date as an available order date.
Place your waste at the curb no later than 7:00 AM on the collection day. We do not collect from the backyard, garage, or the bottom of your driveway.
