In 0th grade, your child and you as parents are invited to an individual health conversation, during which we also offer to examine vision, hearing, height, and weight.

When the children attend pre-school during the SMART school start period, we assess their motor skills in collaboration with the teacher.

The Danish Health Authority recommends that children are measured and weighed again during 1st grade.

In 6th grade, your child is invited to a health conversation and offered examinations of height, weight, and vision.

In 8th grade, your child is invited to a health conversation, during which we also offer examinations of vision, hearing, height, and weight.

At the other grade levels, the health visitor can offer various health education activities at the class level or in groups. The topics vary and may include hand hygiene, menstruation, puberty, mental well-being, and more.

The health visitor is always available if you or your child would like an individual conversation or an examination of height, weight, vision, and/or hearing.
