Gredstedbro is a dynamic community with many activities. Gredstedbro has a wide variety of activities such as entertainment in the community park, village festival, Christmas activities, local ball, two annual youth festivals and a bazaar. Furthermore, there are gatherings in the many associations such as the ballgame association, gymnastic, FDF scouts, handball, general exercise, horseback riding, squash, line dance, golf and the community association. Gredstedbro also functions as community center for the old villages along Kongeåen – such as Jernved, Gredsted, Hjortslund, Jedsted and Vilslev.

Infrastructure
Hourly train services connect Gredstedbro with Esbjerg and Ribe. From Gredstedbro it takes approx. 12 minutes to reach Ribe by train, and 20 minutes by train to Esbjerg, via Bramming.
