The Town square named Stationspladsen, functions as the town center. Just by the city the park called the world forest gives the residents a recreational area for hikes and children’s activities.

Gørding Sports Centre is indeed the place where the community thrives – a community that especially revolves around activities for children and youngsters, offering parkour and street-sport facilities. Gørding has an annual summer party, Christmas party. Furthermore, there are many sport activities for example gymnastic, football and handball. Also theater, fishery, and canoeing is popular, and the area offers nice nature tracks for mountain bike.
