Hostrup and Kokspang function as a single country village There is plenty of village idyll and nature. You will mostly find detached houses gathered in a green environment.

The villages are located in a beautiful open landscape looking onto Varde River and close to the extensive natural areas of Marbæk Plantation and Ho Bay in the Wadden Sea National Park.

Community spirit

Hostrup and Kokspang have a good community, where everyone says "hello" to everyone else. This also means that when you move into the town, you will easily become part of the community. Many of the town's shared activities are held at Hostrup's Forsamlingshus (meeting house), in the surrounding countryside or on the nearby golf courses, hunting areas or airborne shooting ranges.

The two popular golf courses Breinholtgård Golfklub and Esbjerg Golfklub are both less than two kilometers from Hostrup and Kokspang.
