The size of your subsidy
The size of the subsidy depends on the number of hours per week/month and the monthly expense for childcare. However, the subsidy cannot exceed 75% of the cost of flexible care. The subsidy is reduced on the 1st of the month when the child turns 3 years old.
The maximum subsidy per month from 01.01.23:
- 138 DKK per average weekly hours for children aged 0-2 years
- 79 DKK per average weekly hours for children aged 3-5 years
The maximum subsidy per month from 01.01.22:
- 125 DKK per average weekly hours for children aged 0-2 years
- 75 DKK per average weekly hours for children aged 3-5 years
In addition, sibling allowance is also provided.
