The enrollment process always takes place in January and you must register your child when he or she is ready for grade 0, which is basically the year in which the child turns six years old. You can also find information about enrollment if your child is going to change schools in the middle of the school year.

Some of the elementary schools offer special profile lines such as: Cavling line (writing), Da Vinci line, Sports talents classes, Culture talents, dyslexics line and Sports Plus.

We set the direction for a new kind of school

Esbjerg Municipality is a part of a project to set the elementary school free. The Danish government has given our schools free rein to go new ways. We use the opportunity to try out new initiatives that can make our schools even better.
